–Madeline Zima, who co-stars on Showtime’s Californication, has signed with UTA. She is managed by Scott Wexler of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
–Rob LaPlante — creator of the A&E documentary series Obsessed and showrunner for MTV’s Is She Really Going Out With Him? — has signed with CAA. LaPlante was previously a producer on NBC’s The Apprentice and The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.
–Writer Rebecca Sonnenshine, who is adapting the novel Thirteen Days to Midnight for Intrepid Pictures, has signed with ICM. She is managed by Brad Mendelsohn of Circle of Confusion.
–Brady Dahl, staff writer on FX’s Sons of Anarchy, has signed with UTA.
–David Matthews, staff writer on Law & Order: Los Angeles, has signed with WME. He is managed by Nicole Romano of Schiff Co.
–Kat Graham, who appears on CW’s Vampire Diaries, has signed with WME. She also appears in a supporting role in Screen Gems’ The Roommate.
– Denmark-based writers Mike Spooner and Simon Bonde, whose Danish television series Man with the Golden Ears is being remade for the U.S. by AMC, have signed with CAA. They are managed by Mikkel Bondesen and Erik Algreen-Petersen of Fuse Entertainment.
– Jessica Sharzer, who wrote and directed 2004’s Speak, an independent film that starred Kristen Stewart, has signed with CAA. Sharzer’s managers are Adam Shulman and Doreen Wilcox at Anonymous Content, and her attorneys are Jamie Feldman and Jonathan Shikora of Lichter Grossman Nichols Adler and Feldman.
